The Research Handbook of Financial Markets (forthcoming from Edward Elgar in 2022) covers the state of the art in financial markets and their scholarly analysis. What are these markets, who are the participants, how do the markets operate, how are they regulated, how does price formation take place, what is the state of the art in research, and what are the open questions?

Drafts of chapters commissioned for this Handbook will be presented and discussed in this conference.
